I love the pretty colors of calico corn that you find every autumn.  My great grandmother and grandmother would gather this beautiful corn and wrap ribbons around the husks to use as decorations on their front doors.  It brings back fond memories of the chill in the air, crisp leaves that had just been piled up for me to jump in and hot apple cider.  This self striping yarn has 6 stripes in the following colors; soft yellow, doe tan, cranberry red, bark brown, mauve and ashy grey.  Each skein is dyed on my Barn Owl Base (75% SW Merino, 25% Nylon) a plump 4 ply fingering weight yarn with 437yds/100g.
